Why mentoring?

In a time where strategic decisions and long-term vision are paramount, mentorship might not be top of mind. But when it comes to sustainable success, talent retention, and growth - mentorship is a potent catalyst.

Drive Talent Retention & Growth

You know that retaining top talent is essential for long-term stability and growth. Mentorship programs, like those offered by Circle Mentoring, provide a structured framework for nurturing and developing existing talent.

In fact, according to a Deloitte study, organizations with formal mentoring programs report a 25% higher employee retention rate.

When employees feel supported and see a clear path for growth within the organization, they are more likely to stay committed to their roles and contribute to long-term success.

Foster a Culture of Innovation

Innovation and adaptability are key to survival in today’s rapidly changing business landscape. Mentorship cultivates an environment where employees are encouraged to share ideas, learn from one another, and adapt to evolving challenges.

Companies with engaged employees outperform their competitors by 147% in earnings per share. You know a culture of innovation is a strategic asset, and mentorship plays a pivotal role in its cultivation.

Drive Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is not just a buzzword; it's a fundamental driver of business success.

Today’s top leaders recognize that a diverse workforce brings fresh perspectives and fuels innovation, directly impacting the bottom line. McKinsey & Company's research reveals that ethnically diverse companies are 36% more likely to outperform their counterparts in terms of profitability.

Mentorship programs play a pivotal role in the DEI journey. By fostering inclusivity, they provide a powerful platform to empower underrepresented employees. It's not just about hearing diverse voices; it's about valuing and integrating these perspectives into every facet of your organization, from decision-making processes to daily operations.

With mentorship, you can bridge the gap between diversity goals and tangible, inclusive outcomes, ensuring that your organization thrives in an increasingly diverse and competitive world.

Mitigate Leadership Pipeline Concerns

Mentorship programs groom high-potential employees, preparing them for future leadership roles.

This minimizes the risk associated with leadership transitions and ensures a continuous infusion of fresh perspectives and ideas into the organization.

Notably, the Center for Creative Leadership found that 64% of companies with mentoring programs reported increased employees moving into leadership positions.

Nurture Psychological Safety

Psychological safety is the single most important factor in building high-performing teams. Psychological safety - the feeling that one can take risks without fear of punishment or humiliation - is crucial for innovation and open communication.

Mentorship relationships often provide a safe space for employees to voice concerns, seek guidance, and grow without fear of judgment. C-suite leaders recognize that psychological safety is the foundation for a thriving, innovative, and collaborative organization.

Our values

01. We’re Inclusive

We are focused on building an engaged community of women that champions equity and each other!

02. We’re Curious

We encourage our members to dive deep into their ambitions and goals, continually searching for opportunities.

03. We Take Action

We don't just talk about what is possible, we go out there and do it. Our mentors work with mentees to take action toward their goals.

04. We Dream Big

We believe whole heartedly that you can accomplish anything you can imagine and put effort behind; you have to dream it first.

Mentoring Reimagined

Just like Uber revolutionized the cab industry and Netflix improved at-home entertainment, we are committed to innovating the concept of mentorship. We don’t believe that the traditional model is effective and have experienced its many limitations. We thought outside of the box, challenged everything, and made something better!

Dynamic Approach

We leverage a one-to-many model that holds the mentee at the center. We are not reliant on a direct matching (or mismatching) system. Our mentees experience greater satisfaction by drawing from different points of view, experiences, perspectives, and ways of being in the world fueling a process that helps them achieve their goals more quickly.

Revolutionary Mentoring Model

We break down stereotypical roles and belief systems about mentoring. Our older more seasoned women can be a mentee as well as a mentor and vice versa for younger members. We provide easy access to resources that continue to support our members along their journeys.

Safe Space

Our circles take place outside organizations, providing an environment with less groupthink and greater safety to explore growth opportunities. We have a global reach as our interactions are all conducted virtually (for now!) We cultivate sustainable mentoring that transitions into intentional, actionable networking as part of a community of inspiring and connected women.
